PHOENIX- Arizona Foundation for Women (AFW) is excited to announce a strategic transition of its highly successful SHE Leads!™ program to Career Connectors, enhancing its commitment to advancing the status of women in Arizona.

This decision comes as AFW focuses its priorities to generate a greater impact for women in Arizona through its grantmaking activities.

“SHE Leads!™ is an amazing and uplifting program and I am excited that Jessica and Career Connectors will take it to the next level. Career Connectors is the perfect home for a program that creates leaders,” said Monica Lindstrom, AFW board chair. “AFW will continue to focus on its long-standing grant making activities.”

This impactful women’s leadership program will continue with a 2025 cohort run by Career Connectors.

The SHE Leads!™ program provides a comprehensive framework of actionable learning outcomes. Participants gain a strategic and effective approach to their career development, deeply rooted in their strengths, experiences, and improved communication, negotiation, and influence skills. The program prepares participants for potential challenges, boosting their confidence in their leadership abilities. Since AFW took over ownership of the program in 2020, 124 women have graduated, and the combined cohorts raised nearly $290,000 for women serving nonprofits in Arizona.
