I wanted to take the time to write you to express my sincerest gratitude for all that you and those who work with you do for so many of us!I lost my job due to our medical office being closed. Your company came highly recommended by an HR person who worked with us as employees to help give us a hand up to become employed again through a very generous program provided by my employer. I am employed again in a job that I really love. It came with wonderful, kind, encouraging management and coworkers as well as a raise in pay! (They also appreciate me, and keep telling me how thankful they are that I am working with/for them!)
I came to three of your meetings. They were so worth my time. I received practical advice, encouragement, and ways to develop my tools for job search which I believe helped me to get the position that I have now. I was out of the job search arena for over 8 years, and everything had changed so much! You provided me with hope and the leg up I needed to have the courage to go out and find another job.
The service that you provide to others is of tremendous value. You helped me to believe in myself and see that I had a lot to offer to a prospective employer with all of my years of experience in various settings. (I am in the older set of individuals, lol!) That helped me to have the confidence to forge ahead in my new venture and succeed!
God bless all of you and those many individuals who offer their time and services!
I just want to thank you and compliment you and your organization, all the people involved, for providing this free service to the people in the Phoenix area. Last August found me in the unforeseen, unplanned position of being without a job. This circumstance, anytime but especially being a single mom, is very unsettling, sometimes downright frightening and anxiety inducing. I began attending many of your weekly meetings through November, when a job opened for me. I found solace and guidance at the Career Connector events. It was also a source of comfort to be in the same room with those who shared my journey, as being unemployed can be quite isolating and discouraging. The positive and helpful atmosphere set forth by you and all those on every panel and the individual speakers brought awareness that this process is a part of most people’s lives, helping me to not feel so alienated and awkward. All spoke with respect to we who were in attendance and gave helpful insight and guidance.
I am grateful for your organization. May you be blessed in abundance, to continue this endeavor and bring hope and new careers to many, many more for decades to come!
Good news. I have landed. Thank you for your support throughout my job search journey. You and your organization has lots to offer besides the positive energy, uplifting of self confidence and immense networking opportunities. I am very appreciative of the efforts and time put forward by you and your team.
Fantastic! Good variety of roles, Obvious interest in quality candidates, really good solid leads. Great investment of time.
It was amazing, you guys did a great job! I found several potential companies!
This was terrific! Very successful. I’m glad I came!
Great lead for follow up with a couple of employers.
I just wanted to let you know that there’s a reason why I haven’t come to any recent Career Connectors events. It’s because I found a job!
This past week, I started working as a data scientist for a technology startup in the financial services space that’s based in downtown Phoenix. It’s an ideal opportunity for me to break into the data science industry with an exciting company.
I wanted to thank you and your staff for putting together all of your fantastic networking events and bringing in informative speakers. I learned a lot of invaluable information about LinkedIn, resumes, and ATSs which undoubtedly helped me land my new position!
Thanks again for all your encouragement and prayers, and I wish you all the best for the rest of the year and 2019!
Thank you for all you do! I’ve been nine loooong months looking for a full-time position and Career Connectors was a real life-line. I was pretty discouraged by the time I found your organization on-line and first visited. The speaker provided some great information but most importantly, encouragement and hope. The panel discussion on resumes was incredibly helpful! Last month I had the opportunity to sit with Brenda and she suggested I really pare back all but the last 10 years of experience and a couple of other changes. The following week, after implementing the suggested changes I had an interview and now I am finally back to work!
Thank you for all your prayers this year. This really is a God thing….I certified for unemployment benefits on the same day the offer came in. After that payment, there was only $400 left toward my claim! I would have preferred to get back to work some time ago, but God had other plans! The team I’m working with now is great, and they are so delighted to have me join them and it’s a pleasure to go to work. Every one I meet who says they are looking for a new opportunity I tell to check out Career Connectors. You’re providing an invaluable service. Thank you!
Blessings to each of you who make Career Connectors happen!
I would like to share that I landed a contract position for 6 months with possible conversion to a permanent position on the team after those contract periods complete. I work on a team as an Instructional Designer and the team is virtual, which means I am able to work from home 100% of the time! I am very excited for the future of my career!
I wanted to share that I sadly won’t be seeing you at Career Connector events for the next 6 months at the very least, and we’ll see how my performance earns me a long term Career Connection!
Thank you always for being there for the community of people in career transition and all the resources you have been able to provide. I hope to keep you up to date as the months and work goes on.
Blessings to everyone you support and the work you do!
