I just wanted to reach out to you and say Thank you to you, Career Connectors and the whole Team! So let me explain why, while I’ve known of Career Connectors for many years, I never thought that I would need employment services or guidance before. On September 19th 2019 I found myself being let go from my job. I later the next day saw the Career Connectors event at Central Christian Church Gilbert Campus coming up on Facebook and signed up for it. While attending my first Career Connectors event I met Tracy, recruiter for Terros, whom I was able to talk to about my new found situation. She was so gracious and patience to listen to me. Then she had me send her my resume and she quickly forward it on Terros staff leaving me with getting a phone call interview that day. It has lead to a job offer and I am now just waiting for the background/UA to come back, so I can start working on October 14th. Now the other very incredible thing is that, I’ve applied a lot of the things I learned during the event which has lead to a few other job offers as well! I have chosen to stick with Terros but it really lifted me up after such devastating event of being let go. Thank you again for everything you do for us the community! Career Connectors Rocks!

I’ve attended a few of your events in Gilbert and Scottsdale since returning to AZ and being an active job seeker. I’m happy to report that I’ve been offered a job! I’m over the moon about the offer and couldn’t be more grateful after a long, three month search (that definitely felt much longer…. 🙂 ).

I want to thank you for your programs. You have excellent speakers who always energized me when I was needing it most. And your resume reviewer was great. She was a tough cookie with a red pen yet it was exactly the advice I needed to get my resume seen by recruiters.

Thank you for your services! I appreciate you!

I started a FT position back on June 3rd.   Thanks to you and your organization for helping me to stay motivated and focused during my job search.   Getting out weekly to your events was terrific.

I wanted to take the time to write you to express my sincerest gratitude for all that you and those who work with you do for so many of us!I lost my job due to our medical office being closed. Your company came highly recommended by an HR person who worked with us as employees to help give us a hand up to become employed again through a very generous program provided by my employer. I am employed again in a job that I really love. It came with wonderful, kind, encouraging management and coworkers as well as a raise in pay! (They also appreciate me, and keep telling me how thankful they are that I am working with/for them!)

I came to three of your meetings. They were so worth my time. I received practical advice, encouragement, and ways to develop my tools for job search which I believe helped me to get the position that I have now. I was out of the job search arena for over 8 years, and everything had changed so much! You provided me with hope and the leg up I needed to have the courage to go out and find another job.

The service that you provide to others is of tremendous value. You helped me to believe in myself and see that I had a lot to offer to a prospective employer with all of my years of experience in various settings. (I am in the older set of individuals, lol!) That helped me to have the confidence to forge ahead in my new venture and succeed!

God bless all of you and those many individuals who offer their time and services!

Ann Marie H.

I just want to thank you and compliment you and your organization, all the people involved, for providing this free service to the people in the Phoenix area. Last August found me in the unforeseen, unplanned position of being without a job. This circumstance, anytime but especially being a single mom, is very unsettling, sometimes downright frightening and anxiety inducing. I began attending many of your weekly meetings through November, when a job opened for me. I found solace and guidance at the Career Connector events. It was also a source of comfort to be in the same room with those who shared my journey, as being unemployed can be quite isolating and discouraging. The positive and helpful atmosphere set forth by you and all those on every panel and the individual speakers brought awareness that this process is a part of most people’s lives, helping me to not feel so alienated and awkward. All spoke with respect to we who were in attendance and gave helpful insight and guidance.

I am grateful for your organization. May you be blessed in abundance, to continue this endeavor and bring hope and new careers to many, many more for decades to come!

Dalene U.

Good news. I have landed. Thank you for your support throughout my job search journey. You and your organization has lots to offer besides the positive energy, uplifting of self confidence and immense networking opportunities. I am very appreciative of the efforts and time put forward by you and your team.

I own a Leadership Company, and have enjoyed attending the Career Connector events. With gratitude I listen to the speakers you line up… they offer phenominal and practical information. What has struck me each time has been the audience. My heart hurts for them. They are in a desperate place in their lives. I have had the opportunity speak with a few of the people in attendance, and they have shared their stories… I walk away thankful to God for the opportunity to meet these people and they … Read more

I believe in the Career Connectors mission and continue to volunteer as a way of expressing my appreciation for their support during a very tough time…thank you Career Connectors!

When I was laid off last year from the company I’d worked with for over 14 years, I actually found I had an even BIGGER job ahead of me. With an outdated resume, no interview skills, and a huge feeling of displacement, I went searching for help. Career Connectors was my savior. The program and its’ leaders were instrumental in rebuilding my confidence, providing the necessary tools and resources, and ultimately responsible for my landing a great position with a company that was featured at o… Read more

Thank you for all you do! I’ve been nine loooong months looking for a full-time position and Career Connectors was a real life-line. I was pretty discouraged by the time I found your organization on-line and first visited. The speaker provided some great information but most importantly, encouragement and hope. The panel discussion on resumes was incredibly helpful! Last month I had the opportunity to sit with Brenda and she suggested I really pare back all but the last 10 years of experience an… Read more
