Career Connectors Rebranding Refocus
Career Connectors to Roll out New Format to Better Meet the Needs of Candidates and Companies in Arizona
Gilbert, AZ (September 4, 2018) – Career Connectors, Arizona’s fastest growing career development nonprofit organization, is announcing the rebranding of their career resource format. In order to better meet the needs of the evolving population of candidates across the state, Career Connectors will be restructuring the way they offer services to individuals who are unemployed and underemployed, as well as those who are simply looking for a different way of moving forward in their career in a new and unique way.
Career Connectors is fortunate to have the generous support of Six Degrees, a branding and marketing agency in Scottsdale. “We are proud to support the evolution of the Career Connectors brand and signal all the great things this compassionate and highly effective organization is poised to achieve as it moves into its second decade,” reports Frank Schab, CEO of Six Degrees.
Since 2009, Career Connectors has offered services free of charge to professionals in career transition at several Maricopa County venues. With locations in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Glendale, the organization schedules keynote speakers who are career subject matter experts, enlists hiring companies, and offers many job-oriented assistance from a variety of professionals, including business portraits by photographers, LinkedIn coaching, and resume assistance. As one of the top networking associations in Phoenix, as awarded by the Phoenix Business Journal, Career Connectors has helped countless people land the career of their dreams through the varied opportunities they have made available.
While the structure of the organization has served the community very well, Jessica Pierce, Executive Director of Career Connectors, understands that to continue to grow, the organization would need to refresh the way they offer their services. Although the venues are strategically located around the Valley, Pierce realizes not everyone has the ability to physically attend these no-cost events, especially if they are currently employed even at a part-time level. She is excited about the upcoming expanded services the organization will be offering that will be available for people throughout the Phoenix area.
Pierce enthusiastically says, “In order to continue to make a difference and reach the people who can really use all the help we offer so they can make a fresh start in a new career, we knew we had to revamp the way we offer those services. We wanted to create new and exciting opportunities for those who are brand new to the job market, as well as for those who have been working for 20 or 30 years.”
The changes Career Connectors will be making will reach even more people, expanding the organization’s scope, while continuing to offer expert advice and hiring opportunities. All at no charge. Even the new logo that was created to accompany the rebranding elicits the idea of a refreshed approach to the way those in career transition are looking for jobs.
